Every time American Citizens are tormented by our government, the Terrorists win a little more. The purpose of Terror is NOT to 'change the world'. It's to cause your enemies to roll up inside their borders and change how THEY behave at home, so that they become so paralyzed by fear that they are unable to attack.

If you start running back and forth between the secure and non-secure sections you're going to draw attention to yourselves.
Everywhere in the world there is airport security.

billb.... 3rd world 'airports' are only 'secure' in that you have to pay the guy with the MP-5 to get your bag checked in.
I remember flying before the hijackings started in the 1960's. I participated in tests of metal detectors in the 1970's.. during a layover in DC National, the FBI had set up a test and was enlisting bored passengers to try and smuggle inert guns through the detector. It was fun.
We've changed our culture as a reaction to acts of terror. We've begun officially terrorizing our citizens on our own as a result of acts of terror.
The terrorists WON.
