Whatever they call those half pint mini Nanos...she dropped it on the floor exercising and broke the glass...so as a good mother I went to the Apple site and bought her and engraved Blue mini Nano.

She was going to put cellophane over the screen. We can't have that...;-))

The broken one is called a "6th generation Nano" and the new one is called a "seventh generation Nano."

Take it from me, best bet with a teen and an ipod is to store up on some of the older cheaper ones on eBay. It makes the hurt from the inevitable lost/stolen/damage report much easier to take when the price was only $30 instead of $130.
