Roomba Discovery SE on Woot - Robert M - 11-15-2007 Hi everyone, I have a two bedroom apartment with hard wood floors. Never enough time to vacuum so I was thinking about grabbing one of the Roomba vacuums from Woot. Anyone have any experience with them? Robert Re: Roomba Discovery SE on Woot - AAA - 11-15-2007 noticing cheerios this past Sunday, I began to wonder if these Roombas would fare well in between all the pews in a church? Re: Roomba Discovery SE on Woot - Robert M - 11-15-2007 AAA, Good question. I never have enough time to vacuum, even my little apartment. I figured the Roomba would be nifty because I can set it and forget it. (Chicken-style! - lol!) Robert Re: Roomba Discovery SE on Woot - AAA - 11-15-2007 yeah, I wondered about all the obstacles -pew supports -kneelers -altar boys ![]() and how it would be found or find its way back to charge??? But, it would be NICE if it COULD work under all the pews. Re: Roomba Discovery SE on Woot - Lux Interior - 11-15-2007 I have this model. It does a great job keeping the floors clean. It also gets the dog hair (Golden Retriever) that builds up around chair & table legs. It is not very quiet, especially on hard floors. I set it loose on the way out the door in the morning. I clean it out every two runs, and maybe once a week with compressed air to get all the dust out to prevent the sensors from being blocked. Re: Roomba Discovery SE on Woot - ztirffritz - 11-15-2007 My dog thinks of it as a playmate. Re: Roomba Discovery SE on Woot - zero - 11-16-2007 Roombas ARE NOT vacuums. |
