wheat free, beer, and information tools

I have a wheat intolerance. Nope, not gluten, specifically wheat. And no, its not a life threatening allergy. If i eat wheat, I'll make a few quick trips to the bathroom the next day. Very annoying and preferably avoided but ultimately not that bad.

I like beer.

A lot of beer is made without wheat. However, determining whether a beer is made with wheat is fairly difficult. Obviously wheat beer is out but wheat is frequently used as a relatively minor ingredient. Brooklyn lager, Old Speckled Hen, and Guinness are all safe choices for me. German beers tend to be safe since they have stricter rules governing beer production (go germans!)

How can I determine which beers have wheat? Beer has inspired many men and motivated a few of those. Perhaps this information is out there.

Thoughts?

Try Yuengling. It's made the German way. I can't handle gluten and I'm allergic to corn, yet I do fine with Yuengling.

I fail to see the problem here.

Ugh, I hate Yengling...it's the worst beer I've ever had. Doesn't harvest moon have a pumpkin based beer too? I dont know if it has any wheat in there...

All I ever really needed to know, I learned from watching Star Trek.
