liftmaster 3280 problems

Having the following problem with two liftmaster 3280 garage door openers.

Both doors go up and down with wall buttons. Both remotes sometimes make doors go up if they are close to the motor unit. They do not allow the doors to go down. The outside keypad flashes 14 or 15 times after code is entered but door does not go up. The enter button does not send the door down. Everything worked fine until yesterday. All I have is interference as what would else would make two separate units fail the same way. Any help is appreciated. TIA

Do both remotes have new batteries? Could it be a neighbor installed a WiFi point that is overloading the receivers?

Are there instructions for a reset of the remotes . . . ?

It must be something with today for that Liftmaster. I have the same model and the trolley carriage thing split. Fortunately, Overhead Door Company's parts department was open. I just finished fixing it myself.

I have no idea what is wrong with your opener, though.

Does your wall "button" have a vacation button? If so, perhaps you triggered it by accident? That will shut off the remotes and external keypad (if wireless).

Also, check to make sure the antenna wire is free of the unit...

Good luck.
