Last minute upgrading to Leopard on PPC Mac's and those who think they have to have Leopard before upgrading to Snow Leopard is my guess.

Apparently no one has looked at the actual auction.

Yes, I know that there is a big market for actual system disks. This guy installed it on a 30GB hard drive and he's selling the hard drive…

Oh, that is different. A blatant copyright and license violation, I imagine it would get pulled as soon as reported.

Yeah, that seller who's auctioning the drives with the OS installed is going to get kicked out of eBay.

That assumes someone reports him or the auction listing pops up on someone's sweep of listings. Since I don't have any registration with eBay, etc., it won't be me.

P.S. Never said anything about the seller getting "kicked out", just the listing pulled.
