A few weeks ago, somebody posted a link on knock-off cables for super cheap from an Amazon seller. I can't find the link to the original thread as my Search-Fu is weak.

The items ship from Hong Kong (I assume because the seller is named Shipped From Hong Kong).

I ordered three of the cables, and Amazon says they've shipped (but they don't say when) with a delivery date between Feb 9 and 28.

I was just wonderin'.

Mine are a no show so far.

I would wait until 28th and then contact Amazon. Even if it got lost in the mail, the seller has to offer a FULL refund or replacement. The seller is responsible until the item reaches the buyer, that's how it works on Amazon.

I sell some stuff on Amazon and one item got lost, I should have not shipped to FPO (Fleet Post Office). I had no choice but to replace it. A few days ago Amazon issued a refund of $91 for an item that was only $59. I have no idea why they did that and I contacted Amazon to clarify. The order was from Dec, way past the 30-day return window. Sometimes I feel the Amazon is too nice to the buyers and tough on sellers. But what alternatives to I have, eBay? no way

I haven't seen my cables either. I checked Amazon the other day and also noticed the February 9-28 delivery date.

I had a delivery date of Jan 30 - Feb 15. Sent the seller an email, no response yet.

Honk Kong sourced "cheap stuff" I buy at Meritline seems to arrive in about two weeks. I forget if I jumped on the Amazon deal.

i only buy cheap items on a whim(that i really don't need from china). by the time they do show up i've completely forgotten about them and it takes me by surprise.
