I love my two girls. My better half has been doing some scanning of old photos and this was one of them. Our youngest blessing taken about 25 years ago. Getting married in September.

I've got 2 beautiful daughters also. I don't have any regrets about not having sons. I think it was divine intervention because I probably would have been too hard on sons. I was raised in a very strict house.

My daughters are the light of my life.

But thankfully, I have several years before they get married (I hope).

why would "regrets" have anything to do with your offspring? (unless, they give you a very strong reason for regret)

I'd have taken any gender that came out! (we didn't find out beforehand)

(And yes.. I have MANY fewer issues with my daughter than I do with our boys....)

I have 2 daughters and a son in the middle. They are all great kids, strong willed, challenging in their own ways, frustrating at times, each with his/her own personality. However, with the exception of making my oldest fully healthy, I would not change or trade any of them. I look forward to the future to see how their personalities continue to grow.

Last night we punished our 4.5 year old daughter. We told her that there are consequences when you misbehave. She replied "well, I don't like your consequences!"

Neighbors when I was a kid wanted girls, but only got boys. They gave up after number eight.

Well let me be the voice of reason in this discussion, then. 3 kids: 4.75yo girl, 4.75yo boy, and 2yo girl. Our oldest daughter has been a MAJOR pill lately. The only time our son has caused problems lately has been when he's been following no. 1 daughter into something. So far, I'm chalking it up to cabin fever, but who really knows. Daughter UNO has been a total daddy's girl since school started (for me...teacher) after winter break. Related or not, she's been pretty much impossible. I think to some immeasurable extent, until they hit puberty, they're all just "kids".
