Do you have a collection on display?

Do you have a displayed collection of anything? I don't have anything. I've got lots of Beatles stuff and baseball cards from the Willie Mays/Mickey Mantle era, but nothing worthy of displaying.

Some art. I guess some of it's displayed, in that some of it is framed and hanging where it can be seen.

I have a collection of over 200 hawaiian shirts on display...

well sorta anyway; does hanging up in the closet count?
I wear (display) one every day, and consider it part of my uniform.
In fact, when Baby Buzz was around seven or eight, I put on a plain shirt one day, and he went in the other room and started crying because he thought something was wrong (worse than usual) with me. Mrs. Buzz had to calm him down, and I put an aloha shirt on and changed back and forth in front of him a couple of times to try to show him it was OK... the kid said if everything was OK, then I should wear the brightly printed shirt... that's how a collection is displayed; it emotionally affects your loved ones.

Nice Pin collection Stavs... I myself had Star Wars on display forever!!! Then when I finished my basement I never managed to put them back on display...

In the meantime, I've managed to collect about 12+ vintage arcade games! Here is a sample of what it looked like a couple of years ago. But, the collection has changed several times since this photo.

Super jealous of the pinies and the arcade machines.

One of these days I'll have a ping pong table and a few machines.

I collect military challenge coins and patches from places I've visited or been stationed. They bring back memories of good friends.

Also collect Danbury Mint and Franklin Mint cars from the 50's and 60's.

Pretzel rattan furniture from the 40's. Coach, tables a bunch of chairs. Beautiful stuff I refinished and made new cushions for.

Old surf related advertising framed all over the house.

Surfboards, a couple of balsas, the rest old school foam, all in perfect condition.

At work I have a collection of blown up engine parts from the Top Fuel dragster I used to work on.

It's a sickness, oh yeah, my "record room" has a collection of Rick Griffin and Robert Williams art.

Halloween, limited to pumpkins, otherwise there'd be no room for us. The Other's b-day is Halloween, so it's been accumulating year after year. Ebay and I are too well acquainted.

I've go some political campaign posters that badly need to be reframed. Some campaign buttons. No particular party; I 'collect' from any candidate that seems significant to me. My biggest regret is passing up a very good chance at a life size "standee' of Ross Perot that was just sitting on the sidewalk when they were closing up his local campaign headquarters.

I have an acquaintance I need to work on who has promised me one of a stack of RFK campaign posters that were to be used at his next stop after the Ambassador.

i also have a few shelves that are just personal memorabilia. I used to have quite a collection of comics, but then and now, I've always been more of an accumulator than 'bag, board and sort'em' collector.

Shoes, Purses, Furniture, Art, dishes, etc.

I quit actively collecting about 5 years ago. Which is not to say I don't buy something on occasion.

Latest thing I collect, Apple products. Put a stop to that.
