Wow, I didn't think of that. I can just re-plumb my pool PVC and not only have it heat the water, but it should glow in the dark negating my need to turns the pool light on at night. Cool. Thanks Randalls, for the heads up (or down, backwards, etc.)

I installed the beta version to heat my pool, and the Chihuahuas all have wings and are now the size of Dobermans !

The good news is the squirrels in a 20 mile radius have all been eaten.

That reminds me...

...I forget exactly what grade it was, but sometime in jr high, one of my best friends built a "cloud chamber" as his science project.

He went on to graduate from Caltech and then "disappeared" into government research as an "atomic scientist."

He wrote to me once, from California, but when I moved out here in the early '60s, I was never able to find him.

Every so often, I wonder what became of you, Doug?
