N. Korea proves it's not rocket science...

The rocket broke apart at launch... That should get a few (read virtually all) of it's engineers arrested, along with their family, neighbors and classmates.

You can tell a lot about a woman by her hands...
- For example, if they are wrapped around your throat she's probably slightly upset.

Not so. The country has a new and progressive leader.

He'll just take their wives and kids away for a little vacation until the next successful launch.

Wish they'd spend that on, I don't know, food?

I wonder if we conducted a test of our airborne laser platform today. It's so much easier shooting down a missile while it's moving slowly in it's boost phase than trying to shoot down warheads moving at high velocity in their terminal phase.

But they need their future astronauts to be fully stunted and malformed to make the long journey to the Democratic People's Republic of Mars.

Actually, the airborne laser program has been ended, and the platform (747) has been retired to Davis-Monthan here in Tucson. It's on display this weekend at the DM open house. After that: nobody quite knows what's going to happen to it. It's possible that it will end up on display at the Pima Air & Space Museum. Or it may be scrapped where it is, although the airframe itself is pretty low time. I'm told that all the plumbing and equipment related to the laser makes it a toxic hazard, and too heavy to be towed over the bridges that cross Kolb Road to get to the AMARG storage area.

Seems the framing consists of "Rocket? what rocket?"

[Chris Knight is trying to hit on Susan, a beautiful woman he finds in Professor Hathaway's house]

Chris Knight: So, if there's anything I can do for you, or, more to the point, to you, you just let me know.

Susan: Can you hammer a six-inch spike through a board with your penis?

Chris Knight: Not right now.

Susan: A girl's gotta have her standards.

[She walks out]
