Any known way to use an MPEG4 / M4v-MP4 as a desktop background?

Just curious.

I’ve got a few of those time lapsed clips of the sky, from the ground, from the ISS and one of Manhattan,
that would make great desktops (if your desktop is clean) - if it was moving, but silent.

anyway to make that happen? I’ve tried making it visible via various places and directing the System Prefs
to include it, without luck.

You can do it with the free Utility Onyx - [www.titanium.free.fr]; go to the Parameters Section, and click on the Animated Desktop Background option.

Thanks… I’ll keep you posted. Gotta see what kind of resources the NASA videos eat up running in the background.
