I found a 13" MacBook Pro, 2.8 GHz model, with Office 2011, partitioned with Windows 7, AppleCare, bought last October. The guy, or company, had three slightly different models, one a 15".

It's on craigslist, and I have bought a couple of things from craigslist before, but I wonder about this deal - it is one of those that seems a bit too good... Any thoughts here? Things I should be especially aware of, etc. The post says it has a case and other things. I would want to do a check with serial number before changing money.

I've made MANY purchases at prices that seem to good to be true. It requires a good bit of savvy to be sure that you don't get ripped off - more than I could type here...

this is a screamin' deal - if it's real, it's probably already gone...

I once got an imac for 1/2 of it's real value. The guy said that he was swamped with calls, but since mine was first - I got it. No doubt, the guy selling this MBP has already gotten 100 calls...

He only had craigslist email as contact, and I contacted him by my "spam" IMAP email address as soon as I saw it. He just listed these 3 today, and one is marked as sold.

the Applecare and Windows 7 make it seem too good to be true.
