Love Tri-X (and flamingos - when I was a kid, they were the first birds that I realized had their knees on backwards.)

There is ABSOLUTELY no reason to shoot flamingoes in B & W. To what avail? ? ? ? ?

How about a REAL shot ? ? ? ?

May I ask which Zoo? If a very large sign is nearby I might be able to get you some closer shots. Hint #2 is Betty White. PM me if you wish....

Nice one - the Sacramento zoo again? I'll have to get out there some time...

I did take a shot of them in color with Ektar using a point and shoot film camera, but it's just a rather uninspired snapshot.

The photos are actually surreal looking. Like some sort of tableau. A puzzle.

I love the black & white shot. So much detail! And I like the composition.
