POPPIES! (light BW)

We had a quick mini heat wave here the last couple of days. A week before, a bit of late season rain and now EVERYTHING is growing. Not a good time for us hay fever sufferers...

...but good for the poppies - this little patch is 10x bigger than the last time I was here 10 days ago or so...

I used to drive I-5 thru the Grapevine and loved the hills all covered in orange this time of year.
