Dude, old news. Hockey is the ultimate redneck sport. It just took about a century for technology to bring hockey to the rednecks.

(And if you disbelieve me, go to a Pensacola Ice Pilots minor league game--that is IF you can get a ticket...)

what kind of hockey league has only one team - in Tulsa OK?

The NBA goofed by trying to push Women's basketball instead of Professional Women's Volleyball. The only women's basketball games I ever went to were free.

Only slightly... but I've been to enough minor league hockey games in the South to get a good read on the, um, demographics of the fan base here...
