IBIRD 3.0 for the iPad--the world's best-selling birding app--just got WAY better! This latest version of iBird is now compatible with the new iOS 5 and comes with a host of exciting new features which take it even further beyond all current birding apps. Perhaps this is in response to the Audubon field guide for birds app reducing its price to 99 cents.

iBird Pro HD? iBird Explorer Pro? iBird Backyard Plus? iBird Yard Plus HD? Reminds me of the Windows 7 editions...

Note is that this app may take up 3GB on your iPad when it is rewritten - from the developer's blog (http://ibird.com/blog):

"We are planning to do iBird HD for the iPad completely over, starting from scratch. This app will have a new UI to replace the sucky one in HD. We use the SAVE algorithm (SAVE stands for Smart Attribute and Value Elimination and is covered by this patent: [www.google.com]). Let’s say we let this app be 2.5 to 3 GB. We may call it iBird HD Ultimate."

Hey, just like Windows 7 Ultimate grinning smiley

I got iBird Explorere Pro years ago and haven't regretted it one bit, but I got iBird Pro HD today. What the hell, it was just a buck.

I have almost as many bird apps as I do astronomy apps.

But the photo apps outnumber everything else combined.

I need one photo app to rule them all!

WARNING!

These 99¢ iBird apps are gateway drugs to the more expensive, related apps.

iBird Pro HD? iBird Explorer Pro? iBird Backyard Plus? iBird Yard Plus HD?

That's what I'm talkin' 'bout.

Reminds me of the Windows 7 editions...
