More Dropbox space: Dropquest II: The Future is Now

What is Dropquest? Dropquest is a multi-step scavenger hunt that has you solve a series of puzzles (inspired by the likes of MIT’s Mystery Hunt or Notpron [though not nearly as time/effort-consuming]). Everyone who completes Dropquest will get at least 1 GB of extra free space, even if you participated last year. Also, everyone starts at the same time, but the questers who finish the soonest get additional amazing prizes.

In case anyone needs it. Im sitting pretty with a cool 13 gigs. =)

Honestly, I don't know that it was worth it.

Maybe if you find a walkthru...

These things always leave me feeling really lame. Couldn't get through the first phase.

I am never going to put anything very important in the cloud or on someones servers.
I have 7.5 GB that is unused at dropbox. I currently have 2 external HD's, and I will continue to have external space available at home me thinks *(:>*

Thanks!

I'm using dropbox all the time these days. It's fantastic.

Haven't filled my 12GB, but I will when I transfer my iDisk stuff over soon.

Can always use more space.

I was able to solve Chapter 1, 2 and 3 without help, but with a lot of effort.

I know the answer to Chapter 4, but can't figure out how someone not from the bay area could solve it.

For the rest, it's sad that I can see the answers from the walk through but can't figure out how one would derive them. I consider myself somewhat intelligent (albeit very impatient), but anyone who solves this without help must be a genius. Chapter 8? Are you serious?

I'm guessing there will be walkthrough's of the solutions in the next day or two (if there isn't one already). I'll probably try to find one, otherwise, it's not worth it for me (already at 23.4 GB free !)
