About $40 less than Apple's Refurb prices.

Still WAY more expensive than commodity access points.

Hrm. Not refurb'd by Apple (90 day warranty).

Edit: Also, estimated ground shipping: $10.

Not sure about geeks, but I bought a not-refurbed-by-apple Airport Extreme 5th (current) gen for $99 from Best Buy a couple months ago. Came in plain cardboard instead of the flashy apple box, but otherwise indistinguishable from new. Maybe they were returns? Dunno. I had a bad experience at geeks.com many years ago and haven't bothered to go back.

Best Buy claimed no warranty support (though their 30 day return policy did apply). I plugged the serial # into apple's warranty checker and it allowed me to input my purchase date and it appears that I have a one year apple warranty.

Did you plug in the serial # because the unit needed service? (Trying to get a handle on whether non-Apple-refurb'd units are problematic. I trust Apple to refurb Apple hardware, everyone else needs to demonstrate some reliability first.)

Add an external hard drive for wireless time machine backups.
