Sell the orig. AppleTV and the Apple TV 2 and buy TWO Apple TV 3s with the proceeds?

Seems like I could ... original ATV and ATV2 used prices are apparently still high. Hard to believe that many people want to jailbrake.

All I know is that I'm tired of having to reestablish the connection to the ATV nearly every day, and hopefully an ATV3 would permit us to switch between two different iTunes libraries without having to reboot the frikken' computer ... like our ATV2 used to allow us to do.

Maybe you should buy the ATV3 and test it first to see that it actually does what you are expecting before selling the others?

I think that is a sure way to get Apple to come out with the Apple TV 4 right after you pull the trigger.

There is no Apple TV4 only the New Apple TV.

AppleTV2 prices are likely to stay high, since the forthcoming A5 jailbreak specifically DOES NOT work on the AppleTV3. And if you've compared a jailbroken ATV2 versus a plain one, you'd know why people really want to JB.

How much is the going rate for a 40GB first gen Apple TV? If I can get $100 for the second gen and even $75 for the fist gen, I'd be pretty happy.
