I've downloaded it, but am making another full backup of my iPhone before trying it. I don't want to brick my iPhone like I did when I tried 5.0.1 jailbreak.

Just an FYI - if you updated to 5.1.1 over the air (i.e. from you iPhone), you'll get an error and it won't complete. You'll have to do a full Restore to 5.1.1 from iTunes.

Make sure you do a full back-up prior to jailbreaking and then restore from back-up after the jailbreak is complete.

I've installed PDANet and 3G Unrestrictor so far. I could not get MyWi to work, but PDANet works well (using it now). These were the two main reasons I wanted to get this done.

This is using PDANet

This is using Comcast and my home network

It should. I did an OTA upgrade from 5.0.1 last night and it would not work this morning. After doing a Restore from iTunes, it worked fine. You should be okay by doing the upgrade from 5.1 -> 5.1.1 through iTunes and then using Absinthe (after activating the phone). Do a Restore from Backup to get your info back on your iPhone.
