I can't figure out if it's new though. What does "OEM/30Day" mean?

Apparantly this is the older model. The newer model is MC184LL/B.

Since Apple doesn't supply keyboards to another vendor for sale under another brand, OEM in this case probably means that they're pulls from Macs, not in retail packaging, and the 30 day guarantee comes from MegaMacs and not Apple.

I think that's $20 more delivered, new, on the Apple site.

It's $29+tax-shipping more new from Apple. Unfortunately, the cheapest shipping option here appears to be >$12.

And the different between the 'old' and 'new' versions is only that the Exposé and Dashboard keys have been swapped for Launchpad and Mission Control keys to accommodate Lion.

Also 2 batteries versus 3.

True, though that's the difference between the OLD old version and the current version. There's a 2-battery version with the pre-Lion buttons (the NEW old version). smiling smiley

That's the big part.

Along with the Magic Track Pad using 2 batteries, this makes Apple's charger and set of four batteries an elegant solution.

I still don't understand why Apple doesn't build one with the number pad. I'd buy it today if they had it. No number pad makes it a royal pain to use. They must think most Mac users don't work with numbers very often.
