Her aunt who is 93 and never had a computer in her life, or even a cell phone.

Wonderful fiercely independent woman who decided she ought to keep up to date with things.

This reminds me of the iPad chapter in Steve Jobs biography. There was one reported who dismissed the iPad when it was announced. I forgot who he was. Then a few month later he was at some farm in Bolivia (?) and a 6 year old boy came by. The reporter gave him the iPad but didn't tell him anything. The kid, who was illiterate, and never saw a computer in his life, immediately figured out how to slide open the iPad and how to run apps and play games and draw stuff. Only then the reported realized how revolutionary the iPad was.

Amazing!

The iPad is capable of a lot of things, but it's appliance-like simplicity is a huge draw.
