I do. You reminded me to watch it. I started to, but it wasn't doing a thing for me. I gave it a half hour and turned it off.

I'll still read your posts though.

I did and will continue to read your posts as well, RgG.

I simply decided to avoid watching the show since I didn't think that having Kevin Costner and Bill Paxton star in a production that by virtue of it's subject matter could easily devolve into a parade of base stereotypes and regional caricatures boded well for the production's overall quality.

I saw your post, rgG. I appreciated it, but I also saw the previews on TV and decided it just wasn't something I wanted to watch. I don't want to watch a drama about lots of violence and killing. A documentary would be ok, I suppose, but there were plenty of war documentaries to watch today instead.

I saw your post, rgG, but I didn't open it because I knew Kevin Costner was in it.

Is Kevin Costner the new Mel Gibson?

Anyone remember Field of Dreams or Dances With Wolves?

No, to the best of my knowledge Kevin Costner has not gone bonkers.

I'll see your Field of Dreams and Dances With Wolves and raise you Robin Hood- Prince of Thieves (in which replacing Costner with a cardboard cutout of Errol Flynn would have produced a more believable portrayal of the title character), Waterworld, and The Postman (a film I genuinely expected to have it's screenplay credited to Clifford C. Claven).

The first 9 hours of Waterworld did it to me.

I enjoy Costner in almost everything he's done, including Silverado and excluding Dances with Wolves and Robin Hood.

For me, far more pluses than minuses on the movie leader board.

Not to mention I don't love to hate.

Thanks all. I was really just kidding about no one reading my posts, but I am sure you all knew that.

As far as the show, it started a little slow, but I think it got progressively better. I will watch it again tonight.

I turned it off after 30 mins. Cosner in this? He should find another job. I thought this was going to be a documentary.
