Ooma Telo Handset $24.xx at Sears

So I go to pick up my ~$12 Multimeter...

For those of you that have an Ooma Telo, Sears (in-store) has them on clearance for $29.99 (normally $49.99). I picked up two and they rang up for $24.xx, instead. YMMV

I asked and the associate said that they were clearing all of their inventory out. I asked about actual Telo base (still priced at $199, but he didn't off-hand know the price and I didn't care to go back and bring one to him. I was just curious, as I am still an original Ooma Hub. I should add that Costco is now selling the Telo base for $149.99 - great price.

I bought these because I got my brother an Ooma Telo for Christmas and figured he can use them. I might just give him one though, I don't know, as I might upgrade in the future - as doing so (if you are an unlimited/no-pay Hub user), your account grandfather's over to the new equipment.

Interesting. I'm still on the Hub too. The thing I love about it is being able to use any phones I want with it. I like the older style, more ergonomic handsets. That's the main reason I haven't been too interested in upgrading.

Yes, I do prefer the Hub too. I like the looks much better, but I figure one of these (years) I'll upgrade to a new model, perhaps whatever is after the Telo.

You can also use your own phones with the Telo.
