I have a MediaSonic ProBox (actually 2 of them) that support both USB and eSATA. They are 4-bay drive enclosures. Here's a link for the USB 3 version: [

Can't say how well they work on USB though, as I've only used them on eSATA. I've had them both for over a year and have had no issues with either one. Well, except for the fact that if I unmount all the drives and turn the enclosure off, sometimes when I turn it back on it won't re-mount the drives automatically. Sometimes I have to reboot. But I'm not sure if it's an issue with the eSATA card, or the enclosure. I use one enclosure for actual "working" drives, and the other is only backup. So one is usually always on, and the other I'll turn off occasionally.
