I saw a baby gray whale yesterday

It was feeding around the light house at Point Reyes National Seashore.

Sorry, but I didn't get a pic of it. sad smiley

I was too high, very near the top of the steps, and it only surfaced occasionally for a few brief moments.

That means you also saw cool cows, antelope, maybe some giant Elephant Seals too. I like to walk the "Earthquake Trail" back at the Point Reyes center. You'll see another Gray. Glad you saw the baby. Wonder where it's mama was?

Hopefully it has a better life than this fin whale that washed up just a few miles south of the light house over the weekend apparently hit by a ship.
