Crashing Safari!

My sister is having problems with Safari 5.0.6, just started recently. It is crashing shortly after she starts watching youtube videos, Now it is taking forever to load pages. FireFox still works fine. I think she's still using Leopard.

She sent me pages of error code gobbledygook, though I'm not sure how that was generated.

What is the best fix for this?

Empty Safari cache, repair permissions, update software...

Does she have Flash Player on her Mac? That may be her problem. It was on mine until I uninstalled it. That ended the frequent crashes - like two, three, four times an hour.

Or maybe she should first go out to the official Flash Player website and install the latest version compatible with her OS.

Has she recently installed a version from elsewhere but the official site?
