Bunch of free ALBUMS on Amazon

Seems like there's an updating thread over at Slickdeals:

[slickdeals.net]

Refer to that thread for links. Some examples include Coldplay Parachutes, Deja Vu by CSNY, Rise and Fall of Ziggy.... by Bowie, etc.

I nabbed a few albums. A better version of my Coldplay Parachutes, Depeche Mode and Damien Rice. Yea. Thanks for the heads up!

Nice send and good deals!

Nice to hear DEJA VU from start to finish for free w/o the noise from the very old vinyl. That and ZIGGY...

Well done.

I hate Amazon's "time sensitive, if you get lucky" pricing mechanism. It's not like I'm going to sit around all day waiting for "the right deal" and then I miss out on a fabulous bargain like this. I would have loved to pick up a couple of those albums for free... and would consider paying $2-3 for them. $5 for a digital only just does't seem like a true value now that I know I could have had them for $0.

I understand, to me it seems it was more like a pricing error on their side.

I bought an MP3 on Amazon the other day and then realized (too late) that I could have purchased the CD for less! What's with that??

Yeah, I don't understand why people would pay more for an mp3 album than a used CD. You can rip the CD at a higher bit rate, or even in a lossless format if you want to.

I agree. The mp3 is adequate for my computer speakers but isn't quite up to the task in my living room.
