iPad and and iPhone users...

Do you watch .wmv files on your iOS device(s)?

If so, what app do you use?

VLC was my go to app on my 'Phone and first iPad. The App Store pulled it and I'm looking for something new to use.

I'll probably pull VLC from the one Mac my 'Phone syncs to and put it on all the Macs I sync from.

But I'm wondering if there isn't something new and improved.

Sorry, but my iPhone 4 is a phone, camera, cheap gas finder, GPs navigator, calendar and notes, compass, altimeter, level and maybe a few others. It is not for movies or email or texting or for music. Just a tool.

I don't have enough free space on my iOS devices to spare for big video files. I stream them from my server via AirVideo.

I still have VLC on my iPad. It is actually the best Media player for the iPad that I've found. It is a really well done tool.

Me too! Awesome app (with companion program for your PC or Mac).

vlc. Got as soon as it was announced and still have it. Haven't spent the time to move it over to the new iPad but I hear that's a pain as the iPad syncs to a different machine.

I use AirVideo too. But I have occasional problems with losing signal and the one place I really would have liked a bit of video is a cell dead zone with no WiFi, rendering AirVideo useless.

OPlayer HD Lite (free) works pretty well.

I'll try OPlayer.

I need something to view .wmv files in email.

My 'Phone is a tool also. I use it for viewing movies when I have some down time,

I got AirVideo when it first came out. It's great for what it is, but doesn't do a thing for want I'm looking for.

Thanks, tenders.

OPlayerHD Lite works great!

More features than VLC, and a nicer interface.

I just might pop for the paid version to get rid of the add. But this will do nicely until I get VLC on this iPad. It's on my 'Phone, but I might put OPlayer Lite on it, too.

Thanks again, tenders!

Glad it's working for you. I forget how I stumbled across that app. Guess it wasn't here!
