It looks like it's popping at the seams. Not a whole lot but I can push down on it and see it compress. That's bad right? Should I replace it? Is this dangerous? Will it explode or something???

Replace it. It will only get worse. If it gets bad enough they can be very very very hard to remove.

Same thing happened to my MacBook about a week ago. Since the MacBook was several years old, I didn't want to spend $100 on a battery, so I opted for this one for about $22.00. It is supposed to have a year warranty, and since it is fulfilled by Amazon, I hope they will stand behind it. I know you can never tell with these cheap batteries, but this one seems OK, so far. I guess time will tell.

I recently bought a replacement Battery for an iBook G4 laptop from a different Amazon Contract supplier. The first battery they shipped had a serious "fit" problem and I sent a complaint that was "instantly" attended to. The second battery did fit and is charging well.

The point being, if there is a problem with an Amazon Contract supplier do not avoid complaining. They do want to remain as an Amazon supplier and will go to great lengths to be sure you are satisfied.
