Me, too. I had no idea he was still around until now. What about Wunda Wunda?

I remember seeing a St. Louis 'kid's TV' hosted by "Corky the Clown". Our Cub Scout troop was the 'special guests' one Saturday afternoon. I spent most of the show gawking at all the TV studio equipment.

( I was also still in a state of shock after witnessing an armed robbery at a store on our way into the studio in downtown, which ended by the shopkeeper shooting the robber very dead with a shotgun. I watched the whole thing from the window of the station wagon as we drove by. I don't think the Den Mother driving even noticed.)

I grew up watching JP as well. I saw this on the news last night and really felt sad.
