I didn't have time to check whether the deal is valid or not. Sometimes there is a $400 rebnate for this printer when purchased with some Canon cameras (G12, dSLR) but this seems to be a different promotion, "only" $200 MIR

Not solid. Expired 6/30 but the Slick Deals poster didn't do his homework.

As the thread there soon shows, the rebate doesn't apply when purchased thru buy.com --- which is the link provided.

So I went to the Focus site to see what they're selling it for. They have a listing for $346; $146 after rebate is still a screaming deal. And they say the rebate is good through 9/30, an apparent typo.

But when you click it, the page lists the rebate as through 6/30.

Amazon has it for $152 after rebate... I'd pay the extra 6 bucks to deal with Amazon, who has always been reliable for me.

In fact... I might jump on this deal!

Was going to say, I'll just stick with Costco for now - tempting though this woulda been. No space for a lg format printer and free reprints if they screw something up.

I have a large format Epson 1270 printer and I use it less and less. If you figure in the cost of ink and paper, Costco is a better deal, although I'm not sure if Costco quality is as good as my printer.
