In regards to the post below about the iCloud account being hacked and the snowball effect after that, I found a link to Diceware.

This is a method for secure passphrase generation rather than using a password.

I think there are only a very few instances where one's password can be long, so I think the use of a passphrase is limited to the examples listed in the link.

I had never heard of this but thought I'd pass it on.
