Horrible bus accident in India

50+ killed... the 40 or so riding on the roof probably had better chances of survival than the folks inside the bus.
If this were a plane crash we'd be hearing about it nonstop.

Sad but it happens. Saw a man die in Baluchistan when he was run over by a train. Which was slowing so commuters to the ship breaking yard could climb aboard. And ride on top of the freight cars.

Different standards in the third world .

Well there is some merit in the observation that even the tiniest of incidents involving even an ultra-light will get news time whereas a bus accident with loss of life might not even make the back pages of little more than the local pub.
