Went out to look and might have seen one, maybe. It is a perfect night for viewing, but there are a lot of tall trees near us, so maybe they are blocking the view, somewhat.

I've never had any luck with these showers.

I just came in after about of observing and saw 3 nearly horizon to horizon events with lots of sparkling trails and about a dozen or more smaller ones.

Sierra foothills, small town in California, only a couple of street lights.

Only 80° @ 10+PM. was 106° today!

I just came in. It's 1:00 AM CDT, so it's really only just now midnight. I know they're supposed to be better after midnight, but I have to give it up. I saw 5 small ones in over 30 minutes. It's a bad night for my insomnia meds to kick in.

.....good to know....haven't SHOWERED in days [or maybe it weeks??]........

Lots of smoke here, so not prime watching. They should be good tonight, too.

I went back out at 3:30 and watched for 5 minutes and didn't see a single one.

Last night was a bust compared to previous shows. Clouds and haze are building now so tonight is not looking prime either.
