They've got nothing. Just like they've always got nothing.

I'm still rooting for them... but I'm also still skeptical of their theory...

Is this place trying to sell something or get funding? they seem to always be leading people on. Maybe I am reading it wrong.

WE MAY HAVE FOUND SOMETHING THAT IF YOU LOOK AT IT THIS WAY COULD BE EVIDENCE THAT THIS IS SOMETHING.

Of course skeptics said the same when hunters were looking for the Liberty Bell 7 space capsule in the Atlantic.. or more recently the wreckage of Air France 447 somewhere between Brazil and Europe.

It's hard to imagine but technology is quite remarkable.

I'm not sold yet, but the circumstantial evidence are starting to get to big to ignore.

They found the Air France wreckage on day one of the underwater ROV search. I'm friends with the skipper of the ship who mowed the lawn. We were in Sea Scouts together.

The difference is: the ones who went looking for Liberty Bell 7 and found it. The ones who went looking for 447 and found it. TiGhar has been in business since 1985 and has yet to recover a single airplane. In this time they have consumed millions and millions of other peoples' dollars.

If you look on their website, you'll see four "projects."

1. Amelia Earhart's Lockheed Electra: not found, period.
2. The TBD Devasator: not found by Tighar.
3.. The P-38 Lightning: not found by Tighar.
4. The "White Bird" of Nungesser & Coli: not found, period.

Tighar has as much circumstantial evidence of the whereabouts of Earhart's plane as the Apollo hoax crowd have. Tighar is a fraud, pure and simple.

I think this photo (from Gillespie's bio) says it all. Is that Steve Zissou?

Earhart never crashed. She is alive and well hiding out with her navigator on Bali.
