Good for Ringo, very glad to hear it!

Bummer that Mick Fleetwood doesn't have more, though...

Gee, Peter Criss didn't make the list? I'd thought he'd be a shoo-in, since one of the top five (Henley) also plays the drums like an eight-year-old girl...

Yeah, agreed (I love your anology) but look at the songs Henley's either written or co-written and the recent Eagles' tours gate. That's where his bread n' butter is coming from.

And as far as Criss's drumming goes, I played with him once in the 70's and it was like playing with the Hulk. smiling smiley

My thoughts too... Mick Fleetwood? After all this time? Some stories there I'm sure.

He’s blown his money twice and filed bankruptcy. At this stage, he should be pretty happy to have that
and make the list.

Somehow Billy Joel has managed to blow it all and has had 2 bankruptcies - and there is question about how
much of his own catalog he owns right now.

That was one of the reasons for the big tour push with Elton way back in the ancient mid-90s, and then again
in 2005 or 2007.

Although no longer with R.E.M., Bill Berry still performs and is worth an estimated 30 million. Just love these internet "lists".

Not a single woman.

Good point, I wouldn't have been too surprised to see Sheila E. on the list.

Neil Peart would be higher, but he has his money tied up in drums.

Ringo sold a lot of Solo records in the 70s!

I met Billy's old drummer Liberty Devitto at a charity gig in Atlanta a couple years back. Great guy, obviously a hell of a drummer... but he sure doesn't have anything good to say about his old boss these days.

A band is rehearsing on the 4th floor of a building.
They take a break.
The drummer takes a seat on an open window ledge for a smoke.
He shifts his weight and falls out the fourth floor window.
Fortunately, he falls into a dumpster full of corrugated cardboard.

A Passerby comments, "that's the luckiest drummer alive."
Another says, "No, Max Weinberg is the luckiest drummer alive."
