You're right, though, about the add-ons. If you need/want anything beyond basics, Coastal's pricing pushes this "deal" higher than regular prices from other reputable, lower-priced companies. Worth investigating for yourself, though.

When I got my glasses for $15 shipped from zennioptical, I got NONE of the fancy coatings. They've been great so far. The last tome I got the coatings, they started peeling off. Now that I'm grown, I know how to treat my glasses and I've had no problems with cheap basic plastic.

Weak script w/ small lenses; barely...
Heck, Sears BOGO deal is better, assuming you can live w/ their frame selection.

I looked at Coastal, but I couldn't stand their thick-rimmed selections, and the only ones that I might have considered getting were "premium" frames that of course cost more.
