Received the following email from DropBox. Is it legit?

"Your Dropbox password has expired.

Hi there! Your Dropbox password has expired because you haven't changed it in a while. You'll need to create a new one.

Enter your email address to reset your password. You may need to check your spam folder or unblock no-reply@dropbox.com."

probably a spoof. As always, go directly to the source. Don't click on links like this that are sent via email.

I have NEVER had dropbox send me a message like that so I'd say it is a spoof.

I logged into my DropBox and wasn't asked to change my password. The email request I received was very convincing - if it is a scam, it's going to fool a lot of people.

I had to change my DropBox password a few days ago. I couldn't link a new app on my iPad to my DB account - couldn't figure out what the problem was until I logged onto the website.

Interesting, I'm on my third (if not fourth) year of paid service, and have never changed my password yet, nor have I been asked.
