I have the same version of Safari, but I'm not having a problem with that. What are the symptoms?

My biggest offender is my local newspaper who is almost belly up and shifting to internet based content. MLive.com
Every page I go to a popup screen appears;
Safari can't verify the identity of the website "s-static.ak.facebook.com".

The certificate for this website is invalid. You might be connecting to a website that is pretending to be "s-static.ak.facebook.com", which could put your confidential information at risk. Would you like to connect to the website anyway?

Show Certificate_________Cancel__________Continue

I cancel and it goes away till I click on another page!

Go to: System Preferences>date & time>date & time tab. If the checkbox to set automatically isn't enabled, enable it.

In Safari, go to security tab>show cookies and use the search tool to find and remove all references to mlive, facebook, and google.

Try the offending page again.

System preferences?date&time is checked.
removed all mlive.
I don't know if I can remove all the google cookies that they deposit on my drive. I would like to but I have several email accounts and our tennis asso. runs the website there. I think I have cleared all my cookies before and found that google amazon ebay comcast newegg o dealmac macresource (and more) just deposit them again.

I don't do facebook, don't have a page and refuse befriend anyone who asks! I have gone as far as blocking them with littlesnitch and that has mostly worked.

I removed all mlive and went back to the site and the popup facebook box asks again.
check my safari prefs again and the cookies are back.
I have prefs set to accept only cookies form sites I visit.
And this time I get a popunder from them from netflixs

Did not remove the google cookies, will have to think about that?

Thanks for offering help!
