Amazing what's out there. I was pleasantly astounded when it was discovered that Pluto has 5 moons (so far)!

Isn't the astronomer's definition of "moon" any body that is orbiting another body that is not a star? By that definition a pebble you launch from your kid's model rocket could be a moon temporarily if you could get it into high enough altitude and get it a few orbits...

Also, I'll be more impressed when the get pictures of the moon coming back around the sunward side of that asteroid... otherwise it could just be another smaller asteroid on a similar orbit...

This is common. Asteroid Ida has a moon, Dactyl, for example.
