printing help

Trying to get a file to print on one letter sized page (landscape). It is a Word table that I used to make a periodic table. I have done it in the past but don't remember how today. When I shrink it to fit it cuts off the left side of the table. I have included a link to the file in my dropbox below. TIA

pbarra,

One of the problems is the file has a custom page setup. Change the page setup to letter size and scale it down until the entire table fits on a single page. Just did it here and it worked. I scaled it by 50%.

Pete,

In Page Setup.

Here's the process in MS Word:

Choose Page Setup.

Choose Paper size US Letter

Make sure it's set for landscape

In Scale, choose 50%.

This is all done in the Page Setup screen.

Then choose Print.

Worst case, I can do it again and turn it into a PDF and email it to you. (PM if you want me to do this).

pBarra1,

Ah! I thought you were on a Mac. I didn't realize you were trying to do this under Windows. In that case, I can't help you since I don't have my Windows machine with me. But, if you need to get it done, I'll gladly turn it into a PDF on my machine and email it to you. If nothing else, it ensures you have a usable version of the file until such a time as you figure out how to scale it on your windows configuration.

I am still at work, on Windows. I am using Word 2007

in Print, the printer dialog opens. I have multiple printers, next to the printer dropdown box, there is a "Properties" button.

In there, under Page Setup tab, there is Page Layout. There is a Manual Scaling. Activate that and change from 100% to 75% for example
