Does anyone have experience with MediaFire, and if so, any likes or dislikes?

I'm contemplating a subscription.

Looks to be very similar to dropbox/box in what it offers. Is that correct?

Similar, but I don't know if it is as well integrated as Dropbox. Storage is much cheaper.

Do you need 1TB of online storage? Gonna take forever to upload all that pRon... =)

If its just for personal storage, sure. Is there and upload limit? What kind of files are you uploading?

I would like to upload all my files to have access anywhere, but I don't know if that is a good idea or not. The website says if you have 50GB available, there is a "backup" feature, but I'm not sure what that means. That's why I hoped someone here had experience with it.

"All" my files? Yeah, I guess you could call me a hoarder. smile smiley

Like i said, I don't know how secure it is, so I don't know what shouldn't be put in cloud storage. I like the idea of using it for a backup. I really don't have any pron, just movies, pictures, books, music and personal files. I also have drawings from work that I could access from home and work.

Well, then break it down =)

Movies, music = local drive.

pictures, work files, personal files = cloud, like dropbox or google drive or windows skydrive (all proven)

flickr free is 1TB, so you could upload photos there -- a far better interface for viewing photos.

Theres a lot of options, not sure if you want to hear them all.

Splitting things between services may be workable. I'll have to study this some more. Thanks for your insight, jdc.
