... at Sam's Club. Marked down from $39.99 to $19.81 (Yes, it would be cooler if it was $19.83, for the year the original consoles came out, but...)

Ha ha, cool! I still have my Intellivision and Intellivision II game consoles and carts laying around here somewhere. Loaned one of my favorite games to a friend a few years after I stopped playing it, never got it back and don't recall who it was. Bummer, I'm missing out on 8-bit, oops 16-bit Advanced Dungeons & Dragons! LOL.

I gotta figure out how to make an mp3 out of Intellivision sound bites like:
Hello Commander, Computer Reporting!
The code, the code, figure out the code!
Bombs away!

Boy did I love the baseball game for Intellivision... but I think my favorite overall game was Utopia.

Just looked... no Utopia :-(

The boxing game was great fun though!!! I'd say it was even more fun than some of the current day sims because you could always count on the rare possibility that you could win by sneaking in one lucky punch even if you were getting creamed!

Just read the list again... Horse racing was fun, too. Nothing like a video game teaching a teen the fine art of betting the ponies lol

Damn you... why are they toying with my emotions? Now I saw Utopia listed as being included.

Utopia! YES! Also one of my faves. Loved taking the ships across land via the wormhole or whatever on the edge of the island, that was always fun! Watch out -- Rebels!

Baseball was also great fun; we used to keep stats in spiral notebooks with real player lineup cards. Kind of like fantasy baseball before it was invented I guess.

Auto Racing was another favorite of mine. Those cars could do some serious drifting!

I don't think I've ever actually played an Intellivision. Only one kid in my neighborhood had one, and we didn't get along...

Still have ours in a box somewhere - 3-bit arcade goodness.

Have Utopia, Space Spartans, Bomb Squad, plus the voice module.

Still have my Intellivision in the basement, working as far as I know. Noone mentioned my favorite game though... Astrosmash. I still remember finally breaking 1 million and the hours it took. Thank goodness for the pause button.
