Heading out to the concert now. A reprise of my first rock concert 35 years ago. Same lineup again too!

Interested to know if they're still making a big deal out of having CMV back.

Inside now. Oddly, the pre-concert music is Annie Lennox.

I'll disagree. Nicks has a vocal range of 1/2 an octave. She basically croaked out her parts. Christine was in somewhat better form, but ...

That was a few months back. Perhaps they've gotten better.

You caught her on a bad night. They're human. They get sick. Their voices sometimes don't hold up to back to back shows. Would you rather they'd cancelled the show? Or gone on without her at all?
One of the better shows I've seen in recent years was Blues Traveller, and that night John Popper couldn't sing-- he tried a few times but eventually his voice would just crack and dissapear. Was still such a tight performance that it made me resolve to never miss them when they come around.

Perhaps.

And yet the review in the morning paper waxed poetic over Nicks' performance. Made me wonder if we were in the same arena.

When I saw her in (whenever it was... early November?) she pretty much met my expectations. Thinking maybe I get out to see the "dinosaurs" more than you do and have a better sense of how being into your 60s and early 70s can affect your voice?

I've got my dinosaur tickets for Bob Seger later this month and for The Who later this year. I'm pretty comfortable with Triassic Rockers.

I was there on Friday and was pleasantly surprised with Stevie's voice. I finally got this one off my bucket list.
