There are other reasons not to depend on the "Smart" of your TV to be a media hub, such as an interface that probably isn't the best and will seldom, if ever, get a firmware update. And that includes security updates or compatibility fixes.

See, this is an actual annoyance. The other story seemed a big bunch of nothing. Hint, Siri is also always listening during hands free mode, same with the OK Google feature. Amazon Echo. We can keep going. However, Inserting extra ads with no customer friendly benefit is pretty annoying.

I agree, although, inserting ads into my own content is pretty annoying.
