Help a brother out... Only $65M

Yes, every religious leader needs a $65M Gulfstream G650 aircraft...

Quote
By Brooks Hays UPI:
COLLEGE PARK, Ga., March 14 (UPI) -- With a name like Creflo Dollar, being shamelessly garish is almost mandatory. If you're also a multimillionaire televangelist, then it's a no-questions-asked imperative.
Such is the case for down-on-his-luck Atlanta-based pastor, Mr. Creflo Dollar, whose World Changers Church International -- also Creflo Dollar Ministerial Association (formerly International Covenant Ministries), Creflo Dollar Ministries and Arrow Records -- is in dire need of a $65 million private jet.
...
Of course, if Mr. Dollar could afford to buy his own Gulfstream G650 -- not just any plane, but the "fastest plane ever built in civilian aviation" -- he probably would. But Mr. Dollar is only worth an estimated $27 million.

UPI

Comparisons:
An F/A-18F Super Hornet or Three UH-60 Blackhawks cost $62M (approx.)

truth is stranger than fiction-

If I hadn't sent my last $3,000 to the guy from the IRS who called last week, I would have been more than happy to help this guy out.

BTW, the IRS agent wanted $10,000, but when I told him I only had $3,000, he totally caved and agreed to forgive the rest. What a chump!

Actually, that's Daddy Rich (Car Wash, 1976) who preceded Rev. Thomas.

Sad thing is that he will probably get the money.

How many times does the offering plate have to be passed to rack up $65 million? And how many poor kind souls could be helped for that amount? When my grandpa started his ministry in 1932, the members of the congregation paid his wages in produce and chickens. And he had 3 kids to raise.

I'm not saying we should go back to those times.

But I remember hearing the pastor cite the parable..."it is easier for a camel to fit through the eye of a needle than it is for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven."

I'm betting that isn't mentioned in Mr. Dollar's sermons.

I think the IRS needs to yank his Money Changers church tax exempt status.

Jesus rode into Jerusalem on a donkey, then figure 2000 years of inflation at 4%, that gulf stream is a bargain.

All those mega-churches weren't started because their founders couldn't find a compatible existing church.

Some good ones here! Anyway, that old boy ain't right. He could live to be about 150, ride bidness class internationally every day and still save. He ain't right. I saw his "house" one time on way from Atlanta airport. Well, I actually could hardly see the house it was so far back behind the million dollar fence and gate. Wha' a mansion. Know wha' I call his kind? Knuckahaid.

That old man - he don't think like no old man...

If idiots could fly, this place would be an airport. And I'd be a TSA agent.
