Looking forward to the show. Hope Roger's voice has been holding up during this tour.

Nice set list. Enjoy the show. I'll see them in October.

From what I gather Roger is not singing as well as he did on the Quadraphenia tour, but I'll probably go in a few weeks.

Joan Jett played at my first concert in 1983.

She still brings it.

What is interesting is the New Yorker article on the Doctor that worked on Daltry's vocal cords. Great article about the doctor and other patients and even has the cartoons that appeared.

Amen. I was underage when my sister in law to be and her friends snuck me into a club to see her. Wow.

Daltry now suffers from hearing problems like Townshend, so that probably affects his singing. I saw them last week and really enjoyed the show. Not nearly as loud as the first time I saw them in the late 80s, which is probably why I also have tinnitis. The visuals were great and complimented the songs. And Zac Starkey inherited more than his old man's schnozz.

I think this is where the hearing problems started for Pete!:

Made sure to pack in a pair of industrial strength ear plugs when I saw them in Buffalo in the '70's. I was the only who left not partially deaf for a couple of days. (Added bonus, I could hear the words where everyone else heard jet engines.)

I always did that at Ramones concerts, and the time I saw The Who as well. Glad I did.

I saw them last week, great show and I'm now kicking myself for never seeing them live until the last tour. Never really realized what a big dude Pete is!

Roger had a little trouble towards the very end of the set, but I think some of that was issues with his in-ear monitors. Otherwise everybody sounded fine. Sound quality was fantastic, and in a venue (Gwinnett Arena, north of Atlanta) that isn't known for good acoustics.

Joan Jett was really good, and she looks great. Obviously taking care of herself, she looks better in 2015 than she did in the 80's.

I said the same thing when I saw 'em at Allstate arena last time around. Guessing they've got top notch sound techs who use "technology" to dial it in for the hall.

Concert was great. Joan Jett started right around 7:30 and finished at 8:15. The Who came out at 8:45 and finished at 10:50. No encore. Just all the songs in the setlist played straight through.

Only deviation from the setlist I posted above was that they played "Squeeze Box" instead of "The Kids Are Alright."

Roger's voice sounded good (not great, but better than what I was anticipating).
