What? NO LOVE for the iPod Radio Remote?
Posted by: 3d

Ball games, Traffic reports, and NPR are on AM.
HowardStern is on Sirius sad smiley

Make it a satellite radio remote for $49. Now THAT would be cool.
A new revenue stream for Apple. And Sirius radio would get access to MILLIONS of potential new subscribers.

Win-Win situation. Make it so!

AirAmerica is also on AM. Doesn't also function as an FM tuner for the car does it? It should for $49.

NPR is on FM here, and most places in the country I travel to.
It is, frankly, the only reason I listen to FM radio at all.

And, Baba Booey to y'all.

The only thing that FM gizmo is good for is to hear the TV FMcast at the gym.

Ahhh,, ok. NPR is on FM? Cool, so that's not an issue. I honestly have never listened to NPR at all. I just included it on my list because i wanted to sound smart. Traffic reports can be heard on the car radio anyway... and unless you got money on a game, who listens to ball games on the radio anymore??

Ok, ok. I'll admit it. I would've just liked it if the iPod FM radio remote has a Sirius radio hookup for HowardStern. It's been two days and i'm feeling the effects of HowardStern withdrawal. 20 year habits are hard to kick sad smiley

Ya know, that's just too much information, and not something that a radio can solve. Say hi to Howard next time you two have an intimate moment together.

Also NPR is not a bunch of left-wing nut jobs like
Conversative radio would like you to think. They actually
tell both sides and that's not what right-wing radio listeners
want to hear. I only started listening to it about 3 years
ago and I find it the most informative station on the dial.
Science Friday is one of my favorites.
Grateful11

BTW: It's on 90.7 FM in the Charlotte area.

Science Friday? Don't you mean "Liberals Hate Jesus and Make Things Up Friday"? I'm joking.

Well, it should at least cut down on reviewers who continually bitch about the iPod lacking an FM tuner like it's a vital function for an MP3 player. You listening, C(rap)Net?

hes using the same tired jokes he used 20 years ago, he just rearranges the words and changes the sound his farting/belching machine makes -- you should have noticed that by now =(

The HowardStern show amuses me while i get ready for work. If you think his show is all about "farting/belching" noises then you really haven't listened to any of his show. And it puzzles me as to why you are commenting? Hey, I'm not here to preach to anyone. You either like the show or you don't.

All i'm saying in my thread is that satellite radio remote would've been cool. Or maybe podcasts of individual daily satellite radio shows for purchase. It's no extra work for Apple and it opens up a whole new revenue stream for them. Sirius gets their share of the profits and access to millions of new potential subscribers.

That's the topic of my thread. Not the HowardStern show.

No, NPR IS indeed mostly left-spun stuff.

Car Talk is the exception.

It finally showed up this morning.

It's on the right hand side, scroll down a bit. Click on the fm remote to see more details. It seems like it would be a bit clunky to use with that extra cable dangling around. I'd prefer if it just snapped onto the bottom of the nano. I'll be in AZ later this month and will stop in at their apple store to see it in person.
